CMS scored 48 points at the VAC Middle School States! Seven wrestlers placed at the tournament, including

Champion Brady Epperly at 126

Runners-up Keith Krafft at 100, Zach Epperly at 119

3rd Place James Linkous also at 119

5th Place Kyle Dulaney at 75

6th Place Jacob Cunningham at 70, Cody Dulaney at 100

Tyler Miles won the 170 weight class and Logan Bosley was runner up at 105. Both of these guys were wrestling unattached and their points were not added to the Blue Demon Wrestling Club total.

Dublin Tournament Results:
On Saturday 21 CMS wrestlers competed in the Dublin Wrestling Tournament. Sixteen of them medalled. We had seven champions: Austin Ellison, Cody Dulaney, Keith Krafft, Trey Shumate, Nick Boles, Brandon Harris, and Ryan Wade. Calvin Graham finished second while Jacob Cunningham, Zach Demme, Dustin Bailey, Brandon Taylor, and Brandon Jennelle all finished third. Three others placed fourth: Austin Reed, Troy Drake, and Garret Dowdy.

At the Parkersburg tournament also held on Saturday three other CMS wrestlers placed. Brady Epperly won first place, while James Linkous and Jacob Quinn placed third against some very tough competition.

Earlier in the week CMS defeated Pulaski County 157 –12 on Tuesday and then traveled to Carroll County on Thursday for a tri-meet against Carroll Co. and East Wilkes Middle School out of North Carolina. Christiansburg won both matches to up their dual record to 5-0 on the season.

Congratulations to the CMS Wrestlers on their impressive victory last night against Dublin, 91-47. The team won 17 of the 27 matches wrestled. Their next home match is on Dec. 4th against Pulaski Middle School. The team is currently 2-0 on the season.
